Touring the Area
The Ardnamurchan peninsula has much to offer through its huge unspoilt
land area. Yet Strontian it is only 19 miles from Fort William's
mainline train station.
There are many day trips to consider and a good number of places
to visit such as the Ardnamurchan Natural History Centre, Ardnamurchan
Lighthouse, Sunart Oakwoods, Salen, Kilchoan, Glenborrodale, Tobermory
on the Isle of Mull, Castle Tioram, Knoydart. Plenty of boat trips and lots of walking tracks too.
