Walking, Kayaking, Canoeing, Fishing and Cycling
Should the beautiful West Coast weather change to rain then we do have drying facilities for your wet clothes and boots.
Our local single track roads are perfect for quiet cycling along Loch Sunart shore and in the glens. Local Sunart Oakwoods provide eight local cycle routes to explore and they have information on their website you can access at: www.sunartoakwoods.org.uk
“We cycled all day and had the most wonderful time. Our lochside picnic was just heaven.” Susie, Brighton.
Visit www.sunartcycles.co.uk and hire bikes from as little as £20 a day including pump, helmet and spare inner tube.
Kayaking and Canoeing
Otter Adventures will be starting their amazing slow adventure trips in Spring 2017. Experience the lochs on Kayaks or Canoes or even a mini wild camping adventure after a day paddling or walking.
Please contact the hotel for details until their website is up and running.
Many guests visiting the Ardnamurchan area do so for the peaceful countryside and miles and miles of unspoilt scenery.
The Strontian has supplies of locally published leaflets with good walkng information. With mild winters due to the effects of the warm Gulf Stream on Scotland’s west coast, walking is an all year option.
